V Day #2

Anne and I decided to try out a new ristorante and decided to go Italian.  At the Old World Village there is a little Italian place called Paolo's Ristorante.  The food was pretty good all things considered.  I ordered the Pollo Calabrese which was quite tasty.  It was chicken with red bell peppers, italian sausages, tomatoes and artichoke hearts.  She got me a wonderful business card holder hehe now all I need is a job!

Tahoe

Long time to update this thing hehe so I guess this is it.  The Tahoe trip with Loc and Dam was pretty interesting.  We took the back route to Tahoe and went through Mammoth and Mono Lake.  Here are some pics from the Mono Lake area:

It was my first time to the Mono Lakes area just to take pics and I hope these do it justice.

Mammoth Winter Expedition Class

I signed up for a backpacking Winter Course at school that was pretty fun.  Although we got our trip cut short by the big storm that moved in through the Sierra area back in January I had a lot of fun.  We learned to cross country ski and got to build snow kitchens and setup a camp in winter.  The weather was on average around upper 20's to 30 during the day and dropped to mid 20's in the evening.  Here are some pics:

Thats my frat bro Ryan to my left, we had to dig this kitchen as you can see it was pretty intricate, we added steps and a bench heh.

Snow Kitchen :)  Notice the stove on the right the handy bench and my winter hat which Anne bought for me hehe.  It had teddy bear ears on it for some reason... *sigh.

This is me with a ~40 lb bag... That thing was heavy and made skiing rather difficult...

Ryan, April, Dinah and I hehe.
